Triple Win. Transportation Choices Coalition's Triple Win Principles are: fund efficiencies first, expand transportation choices, and strategic road construction. Following from impartial, good faith analysis, Transportation Choices will often recommend particular mixes of transportation improvements for a given transportation project or corridor that best meet these basic goals.

In general we support state and local level transportation funding prioritized on cost effectiveness, and environmental and social benefit. This means advocating for measures that include efforts to reduce the number of car trips and expand transportation choices—and widen roads only as a last priority. Read our full Triple Win policy.
