Sound Transit Phase 2 - Looking Ahead

Will Sound Transit wait or go to the ballot in '08 seems to be the popular question these days. The Sound Transit Board just voted to forward a series of proposed plans for public comment during the next two months. Based on public input, the board will make a final decision in late June or July on whether to place a transit-only package on the ballot in 2008 or wait until 2010. What's in the proposed plans? How soon can we expect light rail extension? What's the price tag for this proposed transit expansion? Ric Ilgenfritz from Sound Transit will be on hand to answer all these questions and more.

WHAT: Sound Transit Phase 2 with Ric Ilgenfritz, Executive Director, the Office of Policy, Planning and Public Affairs at Sound Transit
WHEN: Friday May 2, 12:00pm - 1:30pm
WHERE: Seattle and King County Public Health Building, 401 5th Ave., Room 115 (first floor)

Join us for a great conversation and as always, feel free to bring your lunch!
